Lots of us have been thrown into working from home, or just quarantined at home with no work, and we’re living in joggers—or just changing from our night pajamas to our day pajamas haha! I’m pretty much doing that myself, so no judgement…I spend half my life in yoga leggings. I’ve been working from home for almost five years, so I know how uncomfortable it is to get dressed in real clothes when you’re not even leaving the house! But my husband Paul works from home too, and he gets dressed in normal clothes each day…even now when we are all quarantined at home. So in order to NOT look like a slob around him, I have perfected the art of wearing outfits that LOOK like I’m dressed but feel like I’m in pajamas 😉

Flowy Pants

I’m pretty much obsessed with flowy wide leg pants right now, because they are just so comfy—plus they are super cute and flattering! I like to choose a pair that has a wide leg all the way from the thigh down to the ankle, rather than a flare style. I also prefer ones that have a smocked waist to give my waist some definition. A tie or sash at the waist makes it even cuter. And a soft, light and airy material will make them look elegant and feminine, but feel as comfortable as loungewear.

I love these pants so much I bought them in five colors! You can shop this outfit here.

This is my other favorite pair of pants of the season. They also come in beige and black, and I got the beige ones too. They are extremely high-waisted but I still love them! Shop this look here.

Maxi Skirts

I love wearing flowy maxi skirts at home too, because they look better than sweatpants but feel just as comfy. Best of all, I can feel girly in a pretty skirt but I can still sit cross-legged in my desk chair, which I do a lot. Maxi skirts are super in right now, and I’m loving ones with floral and bohemian prints. Maxi skirts look gorgeous in wrap styles or with a gathered drawstring at the waist and a flowy, wide skirt that touches almost to the ground. I’m not as crazy about midi skirts because they don’t keep my legs as warm…and I always think midi skirts look more flattering with heels. With maxi skirts, I can throw on a pair of comfy flats—because you aren’t going to see me in heels while I’m working from home!

I love the boho print on this skirt! It looks so cute paired with a simple cami top and embellished flat sandals. Shop this outfit here.

I totally adore this skirt set and it’s as comfy as it is cute! The two pieces are sold separately, so you can buy just the skirt and style it with a white peasant top too. You can shop this set here.

Maxi Dresses

There is literally nothing more comfortable than a flowy maxi dress, right? I love to wear dresses in general, but when I’m working from home I’m just not as comfy in a shorter dress. A long dress allows me to stretch my legs and sit however I want, plus on these chilly spring days the long length keeps my legs warm. I love long-sleeved maxi dresses for Spring, but I also sometimes wear a sleeveless maxi dress with a cute little cropped cardi. There are two things I always look for in a maxi dress: that it’s defined at the waist and flows all the way down to the ankle.

Floral maxi dresses are so fun for spring. It’s hard to find ones with sleeves, so I picked out a bunch of gorgeous floral maxi dresses with short sleeves and linked them for you here.
This isn’t your typical work from home picture, but today is my birthday and I chose this dress as my bday dress. This is my favorite style maxi dress right now and it’s the most comfy dress ever! My hubby got me these balloons and I can’t believe how perfectly they match! This dress is mostly sold out, so I linked one I found along with some other stunning tie dye maxi dresses here. I also found this dress in various places in a few sizes, you can shop them here: extra small, small and large.

Jumpsuits

Okay, so maybe I lied when I said there is nothing more comfortable than a maxi dress…because a super soft jumpsuit is probably even better! I am not talking about a structured, tailored jumpsuit here…it has to be a jumpsuit in a drapey jersey fabric if you really want to feel like you’re wearing pajamas 😉 I prefer jumpsuits that are defined at the waist and have a short bodice, as high-waisted styles elongate the leg. Also I refuse to wear jumpsuits with zippers and other closures that make it insanely annoying to go to the bathroom! So instead I search for styles that can easily slide up and down…a lot of times they have elastic smocking or a sash at the waist. I love jumpsuits with a wide leg or cinched at the bottom like a jogger. Here are some of my favorite jumpsuits I’ve been wearing right now.

A jogger jumpsuit is THE jumpsuit of the season. I love the scoop neck on this one and the soft black jersey fabric. It’s literally more comfy than any pajamas I own! You can shop this jumpsuit and others ike it here.
I absolutely adore this stretchy jersey knit jumpsuit, with it’s fitted tube top and wide legs. It slips easily up and down and seriously feels like pajamas! I linked this jumpsuit and many other comfy pull-on jumpsuits here.
